If Jesus Christ would have long hair, that would go against 1 Cor. 11:13-16. Jesus is perfect and does not go against anything in the bible including first Corinthians. So if Jesus does not go against first Corinthians, then he always had short hair.|
Another reason why the Shroud of Turin is not the shroud of Jesus Christ is because when they nailed Jesus to the cross, he was pierced through the palms of his hands. Not his wrists. The shroud to the left shows that this man was pierced through his wrists.
Indeed, many dogs surround me, a pack of evildoers closes in upon me; they have pierced my hands and my feet;
They took Jesus' body, and in accordance with Jewish burial custom bound it up in wrappings of cloth with perfumed oils.
The verse in John tells that Jesus was buried with "more than one" pieces of cloth. Note the word wrappings, plural. The shroud is only one peice of cloth. Not more than one.
